Lily's Travelling Wardrobe has been a long time coming, but, finally, there exists a company prepared to travel to nursing and care homes, residential homes and retirement villages.

Finding clothing for care home residents has always been a struggle. Certainly if my own experience is anything to go by, it can be time consuming, frustrating and disappointing. Either things do not fit, are of poor quality, or in my late grandmothers' case,"not what I wanted at all!"

Getting the right size was almost impossible and if we were able to find anything suitable it usually came with a ridiculously high price tag.

Lily's Travelling Wardrobe has been set up for all those long-suffering family members who understand only too well the difficulties faced.

All the clothes I have for sale are of a very high quality and suitable for the, shall we say, more mature ladies!! I also carry ladies underwear/nightwear and a range of clothing for gentlemen. New for 2017, I now have a selection of ladies silky scarves at £6.50 each.

Each item of clothing will be sold at a fixed price of £13 per item, or £6.50 per pack for underwear, this makes things easier for everyone. Items can be left at the time of the visit and I can arrange for invoices to follow. Care homes will earn 10% commission on all my sales, so this is a great way to boost your residents fund, too.

Lily's sessions are enjoyable, relaxed and fun. There will be lots of tea, chat and nostalgic music from the 1940's and 1950's.

Oh, yes, and there will be cake!
